Steep with me for a moment… ☕💎
As this birthday series comes to a close, I find myself sitting with a full heart.
A cup of Nature’s Diamonds tea warming my hands.
A quiet pause.
A deep breath.
And an overwhelming sense of gratitude.
Over these past reflections, I have shared pieces of my journey—lessons learned, moments celebrated, dreams still unfolding.
But if there is one truth that continues to rise to the surface, it is this:
Life is not measured by the years alone.
It is measured by the love shared, the lives touched, the courage shown, the lessons embraced, and the moments we chose to be fully present.
Turning 60 has not felt like reaching an ending.
It has felt like opening a beautifully wrapped invitation.
An invitation to honour where I have been.
To celebrate who I have become.
And to embrace what is still waiting to be created.
Thank You for Walking This Journey with Me
No meaningful story is written alone.
As I reflect on these six decades, I am reminded again and again of the people who have made this journey rich with meaning.
To my family.
To dear friends.
To students who trusted me as their teacher.
To clients who invited me into their healing journeys.
To colleagues, collaborators, podcast guests, retreat participants, tea customers, wellness seekers, and communities near and far—
thank you.
Thank you for your trust.
Thank you for your encouragement.
Thank you for the conversations, the shared laughter, the tears, the discoveries, and the opportunities to grow together.
Some of you have been part of this story for decades.
Some joined more recently.
And every connection has mattered.
This life has been made infinitely richer because of community.
What This Birthday Series Has Reminded Me
Creating these birthday reflections has been a gift in itself.
Sometimes we move so quickly toward what is next that we forget to pause and truly honour what has already been.
This series reminded me:
💎 that resilience often looks quieter than we realize
💎 that reinvention is one of life’s most beautiful gifts
💎 that joy deserves celebration, not postponement
💎 that purpose evolves, deepens, and expands
💎 that tea rituals create sacred space for reflection
💎 that aging can be a season of extraordinary creativity and clarity
💎 that community changes everything
And perhaps most importantly…
That becoming is lifelong.
Some of My Favourite Gifts from Life So Far
Not material gifts.
But the ones that truly endure.
The privilege of movement.
The joy of teaching.
The discovery that healing takes many forms.
The ability to blend science with intuition.
The wonder of creating tea experiences that nourish body, mind, and spirit.
The breathtaking beauty of Cape Breton.
The gift of meaningful conversations.
The courage to pivot.
The wisdom that comes from listening more deeply.
The privilege of witnessing transformation in others.
The understanding that wellness is not perfection—it is relationship.
Relationship with self.
With community.
With nature.
With purpose.
With possibility.
A Love Letter to My Younger Self
If I could sit across from my younger self with a cup of tea, I might say this:
You do not need to have it all figured out.
The detours will make sense someday.
Your sensitivity is not a weakness.
Your curiosity will become one of your greatest gifts.
The moments that challenge you will shape your compassion.
You are allowed to evolve.
You are allowed to rest.
You are allowed to change your mind.
You are allowed to dream bigger than what others understand.
And no matter how uncertain the road may feel—
keep going.
There is beauty waiting that you cannot yet imagine.
What Comes Next
If the first 60 years have taught me anything, it is that life remains beautifully full of possibility.
So what comes next?
More learning.
More connection.
More movement.
More tea.
More conversations.
More retreats.
More teaching.
More creativity.
More collaboration.
More opportunities to support others in discovering their own capacity for healing, resilience, and joy.
The next chapter will not be about doing more for the sake of doing more.
It will be about creating with intention.
Leading with heart.
Choosing alignment.
And staying open to the unexpected invitations life continues to offer.
My Invitation to You
If you have been reading along, watching the videos, sharing a cup of tea with me, or simply reflecting on your own journey through this series—thank you.
And now, I would love to invite you into the next chapter with me.
Perhaps that means:
🌿 joining a class or retreat
☕ discovering a new tea ritual
🎙️ listening to the podcast
💚 exploring wellness tools for stress, movement, and resilience
✨ connecting through the blog community
🌊 simply taking a mindful pause for yourself today
Whatever your next step is, may it be one chosen with care.
One Final Reflection
Before we close this birthday series, I invite you to pause with your own cup of tea and ask:
✨ What am I most grateful for?
✨ What version of myself deserves appreciation?
✨ What chapter am I ready to begin?
✨ What joy am I ready to make space for?
Because no matter where you are in your journey—
there is still more life to live.
More love to give.
More beauty to create.
More wisdom to uncover.
More becoming ahead.
With all my gratitude,
and with love,
Dr. Michelle Greenwell 💎☕
