The Peace Whisperer: Finding Peace Within as a Pathway to Migraine Healing

As we conclude our Migraine Awareness Month podcast series, I find myself reflecting on a question that extends far beyond migraines:

What if healing begins with peace?

Not peace as a destination.

Not peace as something we earn after the pain is gone.

But peace as a practice.

A way of being.

A relationship we cultivate with ourselves, even in the midst of challenge.

In our final episode, I had the privilege of speaking with Karen Lee Cohen, known affectionately as the Peace Whisperer. Karen is the founder of the Let’s Be Peace Movement, author of Let’s Be Peace: 20 Unique Paths to Healing Yourself and Spreading Peace in the World, and an advocate for helping people discover that inner peace may be one of the most powerful healing tools available to us.

Her message was both simple and profound, check out our discussion on the Be Well with Dr Michelle Greenwell Podcast

This perspective aligns beautifully with the lessons we learn from the world’s Blue Zones, regions where people consistently enjoy longer, healthier lives through community, movement, purpose, social engagement, and connection to nature.
