The tremendous effort, creativity, and teamwork required to have the Silver Dart first flown in Canada was undertaken by Alexander Graham Bell and his researchers and inventors, achieving the flight in Feb 1909 on the Baddeck Bay ice. Mabel Bell served sandwiches and Raspberry, Lemon Shrub to the guests. Our Cape Breton tea blend brings the tradition of black tea to the forefront with the esteemed recognition that Pu-erh receives by tea drinkers. Raspberry and Lemon were brought to the forefront to honour Mabel’s Shrub recipe.
