In honour of Obediah Smith, who grew up on Port Hood Island, this special blend commemorates his passion for tea by working for and then owning the Morse’s Tea Company. A philanthropist, who’s estate continues to shine a light on the hospital and schools in Inverness County, Obediah took his his wife to China for their honeymoon where they would have tried oolong tea for the first time. Although Morse Tea highlights Orange Pekoe, this special blend brings forward the berries found in the fields in Port Hood. You can find this blend at the Chestico Museum in Port Hood during the summer months – a fundraising tea for the museum.
