Fit as a Fiddle
Kitchen Party
The Autograph
“Every night of the week in the summer, guests to a dance hall can dance our Cape Breton Square Sets, with three figures a set. Following the musical journey that Natalie MacMaster has created to highlight the power of Celtic Music and traditional tunes, we highlight her journey with these special blends.”
The Natalie MacMaster Set
“Would you like to have an adventure or would you like your tea first?”
– Peter Pan
On Cape Breton Island we refer to exciting treats that were unexpected as “nuggets.” When Natalie steps to the stage, she creates “nuggets” of moments that transport you through time, tradition, and the sweetness of music.
To prepare these musically inspired loose-leaf tea blends, each 50 g package has been hand- mixed, bagged, and sealed with love in Cape Breton. They have also been musically infused by Natalie’s music from traditional tunes, to collaborations, to family sets and more.
From her “In My Hands” album where she connects to her fiddle, to a trip home to bring music into the MacMaster home or the dance hall, to playing with family, friends, and visitors, these blends provide you with these “nugget” moments to treasure with your days and travels.

Have you baked with tea?
This simple cake recipe is one of Natalie’s favourite with the family. The addition of the ‘Fit as a Fiddle’ tea adds depth to the chocolate, as well as the intentions and power of the herbs. It is a moist, deep chocolate cake, that pairs well with a boiled icing which is a Greenwell family tradition.
