A Family Steeped in Tea The story of the Cape Breton Tea Company is one of passion, connection, and a love for tea that spans generations. It all began when Michellie Greenwell became fascinated with loose-leaf tea, inspiring her mother, Michelle, to dive deeper into the world of tea.

Michellie’s journey led her to a tea sommelier course and work in a tea shop, where her expertise and curiosity helped shape the foundation of what would become the Cape Breton Tea Company. From the very beginning, Michellie played a vital role—helping create the initial blends, taste-testing, and consulting over the years.

She was also instrumental in developing the Natalie MacMaster Set, a collection that celebrates tradition, music, and the art of tea blending.

Getting Started with Tea

This can begin with a cup of tea. A simple daily ritual, with intentional application to help you create the space for change to happen.

Highland Splendor calms the system once again as you find your heart center and your way into your passions for life and living.

The next two teas are gateways of transformation as you look at your soul’s purpose through SoulTEA Harbour, and into voicing your ideas and being heard through Island VitaliTEA.

Lastly, as you release the old, you are empowered by Mintal ClariTEA as it brings about a new focus and a feeling of empowerment to take action in your new direction. Random thoughts and ideas become a full picture and you find clarity in your purpose.

This would be enough in itself with the intentions on each package and the carefully prepared recipes for Building Resiliency, but we have also added empowering intuitive art, and more affirmations with selected tones and frequency notes to bring energy and vitality to your day with each step of your transformation.
