Movement & Music for Well-Being: Unwinding Trauma, Building Resiliency

Discover what can happen when movement, music, intention, tea, art, and awareness come together to create new possibilities for wellbeing.

This unique 12-week recorded program brings together the Award-Winning Unwinding Trauma, Building Resiliency (UTBR) program, Tai Chi, intuitive music, and BioEnergetic Wellness tools to support a gentle exploration of movement, self-awareness, vitality, and resiliency.

Created by Dr Michelle Greenwell, CIH BioEW, Tanya Levy, MSW, and intuitive musician Colin MacLeod, UTBR offers an experiential approach to discovering the resources already available within and around us. Throughout the program, Michelle guides you through seated and standing movement experiences, including an exploration of the first 21 movements of the 108-movement Tai Chi set taught through the tradition of Master Moy Lin Shin.

Alongside the movement, Scottish musician Colin MacLeod plays intuitively, responding to the experience unfolding within each session. Rather than asking you to think your way through every movement, the music provides another way to listen, respond, and explore. Rhythm, melody, vibration, and movement invite you to move beyond overthinking and discover greater ease, flow, and grace.

Each week adds another layer to the experience.

A specially selected tea creates an opportunity to pause, notice, and engage the senses. The Harmony Coasters introduce beautiful original art, affirmations, herbs, and frequencies as additional pathways for exploration. Movement patterns and Tai Chi principles invite discoveries about posture, grounding, the heart center, whole-body organization, and the internal mechanics of moving with less effort.

The BioEnergetic Wellness Formula provides a framework for bringing these discoveries into everyday life, helping you explore how small experiences can become meaningful habits that support your personal wellness journey.

No previous Tai Chi or movement experience is necessary.

Every session includes seated and standing possibilities so that you can choose what works for you. Movements can be made smaller, lighter, slower, or adapted to your available energy. If you are experiencing movement challenges, discomfort, injury, stiffness, or lower energy, you are encouraged to begin gently and explore without striving for performance.

This is not about perfecting a Tai Chi form. It is about discovering how you move. How you listen. How music changes your experience. How your body responds when effort is reduced. And how movement can become an invitation to greater ease, awareness, vitality, and resiliency.

Originally offered live in the spring of 2025, this special program generated wonderful discoveries for both participants and facilitators. We have kept the complete 12-week recording series available so that you can now experience it in your own time, revisit sessions as often as you wish, and allow your discoveries to unfold at your own pace.

Whether you are completely new to Tai Chi, curious about seated Tai Chi, looking for new ways to explore movement, or interested in the award-winning Unwinding Trauma, Building Resiliency program, Movement & Music for Well-Being offers a welcoming place to begin.

Put on the music. Pour your tea. Allow yourself to move.

You may be surprised by what becomes possible when you get out of your head and let movement, music, and awareness lead the way.

Please note: Applicable tax is additional when paying the course fee by e-transfer.
