A traditional drink in the area has been a London Fog. This Cape Breton Fog brings in a few flavors that are a favorite in the area.
Boil 1/3 cup of water and pour over an infuser with 1 tsp of Marvelous Miss Maple tea, let it steep for 5-10 min (depending on the strength of the black tea you like), and remove the infuser. Add 1/4 cup of Bailey’s cream, 1 cup of hot or cold oat milk, and stir. Top with whipped cream or coconut cream and sprinkle with cinnamon.
For those wanting to have a non-alcoholic version, please add a tsp of vanilla in place of Bailey’s cream, and use 1 and a 1/4 cup of oat milk to fill the glass. A dark tea infusion will provide a stronger flavor.
