Tai Chi Cape Breton

Description

Join us as we explore the healing powers of the Tai Chi Foundations and 108 Moving Meditation of Master Moy Lin Shin. Tai Chi and Qi Gong are an easy, low impact, stretching and strengthening way to change the moving patterns of the body. Studies show that many of our ailments can be relieved by practicing this ancient art form, this can include blood pressure, diabetes, chronic pain, headaches, joint pain, energy levels, sleep patterns, breathing patterns, allergies, inflammation and more.

All levels are welcome to join the class. Beginners too! We begin with the Tai Chi set and explore small movement sections of the set, then add Sabre and Lok Hup as time allows. Seated and standing versions offered throughout.

Membership dues collected 3 times per year, Jan, April and September. $65 for four months.  Payment can be made at class or by e-transfer.

Client Testimonials

Don’t take our word for it – here’s what our clients say:

The goal was to have public speaking with ease, I was so over the moon, how smoothly and easily I spoke to both groups without a lump in my throat, shortness of breath, or my heart beating loudly in my chest. I came out of the session with such confidence. It was amazing.

Dr. Michelle Greenwell’s knowledge and understanding of the connection between how the body works and how to increase its energy, function, and healing is incredible. By connecting that with the amazing talents and musical abilities of fiddler Colin McLeod in the initial series it takes it to a completely different level that you can’t get anywhere else and leaves both your your body and your mind ready for a whole new day and week mentally and physically.

Movement Made Easy Class

Michelle and I go way back to the dance days and she opened my eyes to a whole new world that was life-changing for me in which I trained under her for my Touch For Health background. She is calm, positive and inspiring for her wealth of knowledge she loves to share. It was wonderful waking up to take the Movement Made Easy course with less pain and balance to start my day right. Big shout out to Colin and his fabulous fiddle playing and having the gift not only for our movement but for even thinking of the chakra notes that were needed to help us on our journeys. We were one lucky group😊 Thank you all for my Wednesday mornings!

Our programs offer profound changes and self-empowerment tools…

I had not realized how dyslexia played a role in my fatigue at the computer during the day.  I had just assumed it was a normal state of being.  With the simple exercises to do before I start the day, and when I need a pick-up, I can change the effort I need to put into my projects as my brain integration is strengthened.

Balancing Business Program

I got a chance to go through the protocol tonight. I am so honored by your work and your vision and blessed to share my art with you for healing work. I was filled with joy when I read, “looking at the art may be enough” to balance.
Tonight the lumbar photos pulled me right in. I also used the chart to balance part of my middle back.
