Since 1982
“Miss Michelle” or Dr. Michelle Greenwell, CIH, has been an avid educator, creator, choreographer, director, and performer.
Michelle celebrates over 40 years in the dance and wellness industry, and the incorporation of Dance Debut in 1988. Supporting thousands of students, of all ages and stages, to move well through such dance genres as tap, stepdance, highland, jazz, ballet, hip hop, musical theatre, and Cape Breton Square Sets, the programs have developed to meet the health and wellness needs of all ages.
Michelle currently offers online and in-person classes in tap and stepdance. She is available for group programs and specialty presentations based on her availability. Her wellness programs also provide dance as one of the movement options for optimizing wellbeing.
From Preschool to Grandparenthood
Dance is universal, and the language of dance is visual and kinesthetic. Miss Michelle has encouraged the love of dance through play, storytelling, puppetry, props, and special tools to assist learning with ease. A class with Michelle transforms your day, and your ability to thrive with joyous movement.
Dance for Wellness
During the pandemic Michelle created special arts programming to support daily activities, integrating warmups, and neuroreflex development. You can learn more through her playlist on YouTube, including the Dance Warmup routine.
